Case Study: Custom Suspended Ceramic Art Installation for a 5-Star Hotel Lobby in Dubai

When executing grand hospitality designs, standard off-the-shelf products fall short. For a premier 5-star hotel lobby project in Dubai, our factory collaborated directly with interior architects to manufacture a bespoke suspended ceramic ceiling installation. By hanging distinct porcelain sculptures via high-tensile steel cables, we turned an ambitious architectural concept into a floating modern art gallery.

01. Turning Conceptual Renderings into Reality

The project began with initial design renderings provided by the client, calling for hundreds of floating white glazed porcelain elements. From stylized vehicles, planes, and helmets to everyday modern objects, every individual piece was crafted as an independent sculpture or hanging pendant. The primary challenge was ensuring structural balance, precise weight control, and absolute glaze consistency across vastly different custom molds.

02. High-Precision Custom Mold Development

At Yalang Home, backed by 12 years of OEM/ODM factory expertise, we specialize in complex B2B ceramic customization.

To bring this Dubai installation to life, every custom shape required dedicated mold engineering. Our master craftsmen translated client blueprints into high-precision production molds, guaranteeing crisp geometry, smooth contours, and structural integrity suitable for safe ceiling suspension in high-traffic commercial venues.

03. Mid-Temperature Firing & Premium Glossy Glaze

Fired at precise mid-temperatures, each porcelain piece achieves exceptional density and durability. Finished with a clean, ultra-reflective white glossy glaze, the hanging sculptures interact dynamically with ambient lobby light, delivering a modern minimalist aesthetic that elevates the entire architectural space.

04. Tailored B2B Manufacturing for Global Projects

Whether engineered as floating ceiling installations, wall-mounted features, or standalone tabletop ornaments, our mid-temperature porcelain manufacturing capabilities cater directly to large-scale commercial and luxury residential projects across Europe, America, and the Middle East.
